On November 9th, ZMPC’s Promoting Meeting for Teaching and Research Sections’ construction was held in Room A201 of the Nursing Department in order to strengthen the connotation construction of the school and promote the orderly development of the teaching and research sections’ construction work. Participants included Guo Jialin, dean of the School’s Office of Academic Affairs, Hu Xuqin, director of the Teaching Supervision Office, directors, deputy directors, teaching section chiefs and heads of the teaching and research sections from the 6 departments.
At the meeting, Hu Xuqin first explained the scoring scales for teaching and research sections’ construction and other teachers, in light ofthe specific conditions within their teaching and research sections, had put forward some revision suggestions for the scoring scales. Dean Guo Jialin pointed out in the meeting that the teaching and research sections were the basic units to carry out the teaching activities, so the departments must attach great importance to the construction work of them. He asked all the teaching and research sections to overcome difficulties, carry out teaching and research activities in a planned and orderly way and record what had been done. The suggestions put forward by various teaching and research sections were delivered to the dean's office in the paper form so as to facilitate continuous revision and improvement in the later stage.
The opening of this meeting has strengthened the learning and exchanges among teaching and research sections, further clarified the responsibilities of the teaching and research sections, which is of great significance for promoting the construction work of teaching and research sections.
