In order to effectively enhance the fire safety awareness and self-rescue ability of the students and staff, and to prevent and control fire accidents from occurring, ZMPC organized a fire evacuation drill for all teachers and students on April 8.

The drill was led by Zhang Biao, the college Deputy President, and participated in by the main leaders of the Security Office, Student Affairs Office, Catering Office, Propaganda Department, Youth League Committee, and each department. The property management company also participated to ensure that all teachers and students conducted safe and standard fire evacuation drills.

As the evacuation signal sounded, the evacuation drill officially began. All teachers and students immediately followed the plan and used wet towels to cover their mouths and noses, and bent over to evacuate along the designated evacuation route. During the evacuation, everyone remained calm and followed the instructions, evacuating in an orderly manner to the designated safe area. In a few minutes all people successfully evacuated from the "fire area"，without any congestion or trampling accidents.

ZMPC always places fire safety work in an important position and highly values fire safety publicity work. In the future, the college will continue to establish a long-term risk prevention and control mechanism to build a "fireproof wall" for campus safety. The college will continue to adopt a more pragmatic work style to put safety work in our hearts, in our hands, and into action. The college will continue to strengthen fire safety education and publicity, ring the fire safety bell constantly, enhance safety awareness, strengthen safety knowledge reserves, and improve emergency response capabilities. It is essential to integrate safety work into campus culture construction and into the process of cultivating moral character and ability, and jointly create a safety cultural atmosphere of“learning about fire safety and participating with awareness.”Let safety become a habit of teachers and students, and provide a safe and stable campus environment for the high-quality development of the colleges various undertakings.
