On July 18, the final round of the 5th Counselor Quality and Skill Competition took place at the One-Stop Student Community Service Center. Zhang Wuxiao, Deputy Secretary of the College’s Party Committee, graced the event with his presence.
Twelve outstanding counselors from the preliminary round participated in the final competition, which comprised three stages: a basic knowledge test, case analysis, and heart-to-heart talk. The emphasis was placed on using competitions as a means to train and educate. The competition effectively showcased participants' theoretical knowledge, professional skills, as well as their ability to provide educational guidance, respond to emergencies, and solve practical problems tailored to college students’characteristics. It further elevated all counselors' professional abilities and levels at thecollegewhile guiding them in exploring how to address contemporary challenges related to“educating people for the Party and cultivating talents for the nation”as counselors. The competition awarded one first prize winner, two second prize winners, three third prize winners, along with six excellent prize winners based on scores from all three stages.
