To further enhance teachers’professional capabilities and subject literacy, and to promote the high-quality development of college education, the college organized a specialized lecture on February 20, 2023. The event was attended by the college’s Party Secretary Yu Song, Deputy Party Secretary and PresidentLu Yuanfu, as well as all in-service teaching and administrative staff. The lecture was chaired by Deputy Party Secretary Zhang Wuxiao.

Prior to the commencement of the lecture, President Lu Yuanfu delivered an inspiring address. He encouraged all faculty and staff to align their thoughts and perspectives, elevate their political awareness, and unite in purpose and effort. He emphasized the importance of working harmoniously and advancing with determination to promote the high-quality development of the college and provide medical education that meets the expectations of the people.

At the lecture, Shao Zhujian, a member of the college's Party Committee and Vice President, delivered a speech titled "Inheritance, Transformation, and Innovation: An Initial Exploration of the Reform of Medical Education Concepts". He provided an in-depth yet accessible explanation from several perspectives, including the relationship between disciplines and professional courses, the development of higher education, differentiation strategies, and the reform direction of medical education. He emphasized that the current medical and health sector is experiencing unprecedented changes and opportunities. The college should seize this opportunity to align with the surging wave of reform. With firm confidence, an energetic attitude, and an unwavering belief in success, the college should fully commit itself to medical education and contribute to its leapfrog development.
